Synergy
Samphas record label being "Young Turks" is an indie label which is seen as being the more stylish, "hip" thing, therefore sampha gets a lot of his views and fans from that scene. Sampha's main help of becoming famous was his record label providing synergy and collaborations with other artists such as SBTRKT who are on the same record label as Sampha himself.
However, Sampha's main claim to fame, was his feature in Drake's new song "Too Much". Sampha's record label "Young Turks" is an independent label therefore they distribute their music themselves.
Technological Convergence
Technological Convergence is also a very big way in which Sampha became famous, such as through the internet combining with many different applications such as phones, tablets, etc. With the massive help of the internet he and his record label have been able to distribute his music and show the quality of his music worldwide. Some of Samphas music can be found on iTunes providing iTunes/iPhone users with the ability to preview and download his music.
TV & Film
TV can help the distribution of Sampha's music in which such Music Video TV Programmes have a "niche" market, therefore targeting such people that like "indie labels" music such as MTV, or The Hits would have a certain genre of music which they would frequently play in order to target that certain market of people in turn to get "frequent customers". Film has not but could help distribute/promote Samphas music as if one of his songs could be used and featured in a movie, therefore also influencing the audience of the film to listen to Samphas songs.
Touring/Concerts
Touring is the main distribution of Samphas music as he tours mainly with SBTRKT which involves synergy as well, however the more "indie" labels focus more on touring as advertisement and promotion. Also due to Samphas featuring with Drake means Drake will need Sampha on tour, therefore Sampha will be performing and receiving a much larger audience. Sampha being a british producer is going on tour with acts such as SBTRKT and Drake in Canada showing that his music is recognised internationally and that there is a reason for his tours being a main source of distribution for him.

Sometimes companies will pay certain celebrities a lot of money to advertise their product, such as Nike could be releasing a new pair of football boots and pay a famous footballer a lot of money to be in an advertisement for them, or wear the boots. This works the same way for music producers such as Sampha, a company could ay them to advertise new speakers etc.
Fan Base
Samphas fan base can provide an income stream as at least 5% will be hardcore fans, and will buy most of the products/albums he releases which is a guaranteed 5% cash back on the products he releases, and then a fairly large majority of his fan base will buy his products of top of this. With the convergence of technology as well Sampha will also have a fan base on such websites as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter in which his fans will be notified whenever a new product or album is released.
Partnership
Partners are companies that share a contract with an artist with the terms that the artist will wear or use the companies product in exchange for that company providing the artist with free clothes/products of that company so their fan base will be encouraged to buy the companies product or the company will be pay the artist in a sponsorship way so that the artist includes the companies logo on their products.
